I like your idea and it looks like it is planned very well. I see you are going to collaborate on an incentive plan, but do you already have something in mind? Your evidence or results should be fairly clear cut because you will have hard core data from before and after the incentive plan is initiated. I believe that if you can find an incentive that most every student would be interested in, you will see a lot of improvement.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment, Neil. I do have an incentive in mind however, it has to be approved by the campus principal. I hope we can see improvement in the students behavior...Houston roads are so crazy I hate to think about a bus driver being distracted while transporting all of those children.
DeleteLooks very well planned and definite marked evaluations. I found the evaluation column difficult. Reviewing you plan it looks like it is cut and dry. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI struggled with the evaluation section, too, Ginger. I hope I did it correctly.
DeleteWow, looks great! I can tell you've put a lot of thought into this! I like how you included the research of relevant literature. I've been doing some of that already, but I don't really know where to add that into my plan since I've already started implementing the plan.
ReplyDeleteI didn't really have much knowledge about bus discipline before I started planning this so for me I needed to explore...I think you already have background knowledge on your topic so I'm sure you're good.
DeleteCharlene, like Christa I like how you included the research of relevant literature. I have mine saved to my bookmarks, and as I narrow the list down, I,too, will include the relevant literature. You can tell that a lot of thought was put forth! Good Job!! I will be anxious to learn of your incentive!
ReplyDeleteVery well planned out! I think this is a great research topic and like you, I would have to investigate a little because I know nothing about bus discipline except that it is a very big issue at times. I'm with Ginger on the evaluation column. I struggled with mine. Yours are very relative. Great job!
ReplyDeleteVery detailed! Again, this topic is very interesting and am excited for you doing research on it! Again, I guess I am always thinking about classroom, classroom, classroom, that I seem to forget the other aspects that are part of our education system. I am sure you will let us know how you progress within your research.
ReplyDeleteHi Charlene. As everyone has mentioned, great job! I really like how you utilized the literature to give you some information to get started. You may not need to, but you could also gather information from other school districts to see what their procedures are and get more ideas on various incentives that have / have not been successful for them. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea about looking to other districts for input. I appreciate that...I think that is something worth considering!
